Get ready to kick off the holiday season in true South Okanagan style! Join neighbours, friends, and visitors for a magical evening of lights, live music, local food, and community cheer at the annual Light-Up Oliver & Fireworks Celebration. This beloved holiday tradition transforms downtown Oliver into a pedestrian-only winter wonderland, filled with festive sounds, glowing displays, and joyful faces.
Festivities Begin at 4:00 PM From 4:00–6:30 PM, stroll through downtown Oliver as Highway 97 closes to traffic, making way for twinkling lights, live entertainment, and special holiday offers from your favourite local shops.
Light-Up Ceremony at Town Hall 6:00 PM: Santa Arrives,welcome him to downtown Oliver!6:15 PM: Oliver Elementary School Choir performs holiday favourites.6:30 PM: Countdown to flipping the official Light-Up Oliver switch, watch the heart of Oliver glow!
Plus, delicious eats from local food trucks and pop-up vendors!

Community Giving Spread the holiday spirit by bringing a donation for the Oliver Food Bank or the Christmas Children’s Hamper. Drop-offs open at the Oliver Visitor Centre starting at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 28. Every gift helps make the season brighter for local families.

Join us at Spirit Ridge Resort, Winery & Sacred Land for the signature event of the South Okanagan Fire and Ice Festival, happening Saturday, November 29th, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The Fire and Ice Celebration will feature artisan wineries, plus breweries, cideries and distilleries from the South Okanagan, serving up samples alongside curated fire and ice themed food pairings.
Enjoy amazing music from Lewis Cardinal, engaging performance by Kinshira and much more!
Don’t forget to dress in your Fire and Ice inspired attire. There will be prizes for the best Fire and the best Ice costumes.
