The South Okanagan Fire & Ice Festival has been developed by the Osoyoos Indian Band, Oliver Tourism Association, and Destination Osoyoos to celebrate winter in the South Okanagan.

The South Okanagan Fire & Ice Festival is a celebration of winter, bringing together local cultures, cuisine, artists, musicians, performers, and so much more.

The Logo

The South Okanagan Fire & Ice Festival Logo was developed by local artist Franchesca Raven Bell (yutəlx). The overall brand concept for the South Okanagan Fire & Ice Festival was developed by Munday Media & Design.

The Logo Artist

Franchesca Raven Bell (yutəlx) was raised in Oliver and is a member of the Osoyoos Indian Band working with several organizations in the language revitalization field as well as the arts field.

She is currently employed as a Project coordinator and Instructor for the Osoyoos Indian Band Language House in addition to doing freelance digital illustrations and designs.

Her educational background includes foundational studies at Emily Carr University of Art and Design as well as the National Aboriginal Professional Artist Training accredited by both the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology and University of British Columbia Okanagan and she has completed a certificate in Graphic Design through Alison.
